I remember last season in the 2021 draft Jamar Chase was the 5th pick overall and there was nothing but hype coming out about how great he was going to be. Then training camp came and he dropped a couple of balls and all you heard was negativity. He was going to be a bust, he was having trouble with the playbook, he couldn't catch. And then in his first NFL game he caught a touchdown pass versus the Minnesota Vikings. But prior to that catch all the announcers talked about was his struggles in training camp. You see the media sometimes doesn't allow these kids to develop at the rate they need to. I picked up Chase in all of my leagues in the 8th round or later last year because of the negative press that he got during training camp and I ended up with a top 5 fantasy wide receiver.
I've done lots of research on Skyy Moore and everything that I see tells me that he has a great opportunity to be a number one wide receiver. His ability and talent shouldn't be in question but for some reason it is, the reports are coming out that he is the wide receiver 4. Now fantasy owners have dropped him in thousands of leagues across the nation.
Billionaires make their money when the stock market is bad because while everyone is panicking, they stay cool calm and collected and buy up all the stock at a cheap rate, everyone is selling because they're so scared that the world is going to end. It's the same thing with fantasy football one week this guy's the hottest thing the next week he's horrible because he may have missed a pass or read a route incorrectly. We have to let these guys learn and give them time to develop.
Skyy Moore's gonna be fine the Skyy is not falling don't believe the bad hype. I trust in Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs offense. Mecole Hardman and Marquis Valdez-Scantling have had plenty of opportunity to emerge as a WR1 or WR2 in their careers. Trust the process and don't give up on Moore. I will take advantage of all the negative press and draft him in the 10th round or later now. I recently picked him up in the 8th round but now I can get him much cheaper, and I may have a top 10 WR1 on my team. Remember stay cool calm and collected through all the preseason noise and hype. Do your research and trust it. If Moore has been dropped in your league, grab him while you can, he's going to be really good.
