OK, so what’s really going on in Buffalo? You have one of the best quarterbacks in the league in Josh Allen, the #1 defense and not much of a running game. Those are all ingredients for a great wide receiver success story…Right?? You also have Stefon Diggs a premiere top 5 wide receiver. What if I told you before you drafted Diggs in either the 1st or 2nd round of your draft this season that he would be averaging 11.48 fantasy points per game (FanDuel) through week 5?

Would you still have drafted him so early?? The truth is Stefon Diggs is an elite wide receiver in the NFL. And the truth is Josh Allen is an elite quarterback in the NFL. The problem is for some reason they just are not connecting.

If you think about it, Stefon Diggs is now considered one of the best at what he does and so defensive coordinators are going to prepare for him in that manner, they’re going to try and take him away. The Buffalo Bills really don’t have of a threatening number 2, I mean let’s face it Emmanuel Sanders is great but he is no longer considered a true number 2 he’s more like a number 3 with good upside from week to week. Although Sanders has really been playing well this season. Cole Beasley is just…Cole Beasley, he has some games where he’s on and gets a lot of targets but he doesn’t find the endzone enough to be a real threat to defense’s. Defense’s have 2 primary jobs when they play the Buffalo Bills… contain Josh Allen...if that’s possible, and double Stefon Diggs and take him away. I will say the emergence of Dawson Knox this season has been nice for the Bills as they’ve never really featured their Tight Ends.

With that all being said this cannot sustain throughout the season. There’s no way that Stefon Diggs will continue at this pace. I believe this week is a bounce back week and a get right week for Diggs. The Bill’s next opponent is the Tennessee Titans on Monday night. The titans have a decent defense but they just gave up 454 total yards to the Jacksonville Jaguars.. They also lost their starting CB Kristian Fulton. This game has all the makings of a big game for the Buffalo Bills and for Stefon Diggs.

Personally I'm playing him in my FanDuel lineups because I believe he is going to have a monster breakout week one of the weeks that we have not seen so far this season. Stefon Diggs is too talented to only have 1 touchdown in 5 games to start the season. Expect an explosion, expect a 25+ fantasy point game from Diggs this Monday night. If ever there was a time to place Stefon Diggs in your DFS lineups…this is it! Trust me on this one.
